SEC Media days left the state of Alabama for the first this year and took the SEC’s biggest offseason event to Atlanta for 2018. SEC Commissioner Greg Sankey has already revealed the event will return to Hoover, Ala., in 2019 but the location of the following event has yet to be determined.
While it could remain in Alabama, it appears the league is seriously discussing taking the event to a new location yet again in 2020.
According to college football insider Brett McMurphy, Dallas “is an option” for the league for the 2020 slot. The closest SEC campus to Dallas is obviously Texas A&M, which is 181 miles away from Aggie Land.

According to Jimmy Hyams of WNML Radio in Knoxville, Nashville, New Orleans and Orlando are also being considered. The only city that features an SEC campus there is Nashville but would be a more centralized location for the event, as opposed to the other options listed.
Not only is Dallas a possibility, but so is Nashville, New Orleans and Orlando, as we reported yesterday from Atlanta.
