Fox Sports re-ranked the 20 best college football coaches at the midway point of the season, and it’s no surprise who came out on top.
Alabama’s Nick Saban reigned supreme among his 2016 colleagues, but the website took it step further by claiming, “At this point, the question isn’t whether Saban is the best coach in college football. It’s whether he’s the best of all-time.”
Three other SEC coaches appeared among the top 20: Ole Miss’ Hugh Freeze, Texas A&M’s Kevin Sumlin and Arkansas’ Bret Bielema. Here’s where each of them placed in Fox Sports’ rankings:
1. Nick Saban, Alabama
14. Hugh Freeze, Ole Miss
