TCU running back Aaron Green has been through the recruiting charade, even before social media hit its maximum level.
One of the top prospects in the 2011 class, Green was critical Thursday of the way highly-ranked prep seniors are now handling the recruiting process and made his opinion known on Twitter:
These High School recruits mislead y'all with tweets on purpose so they can feel special about themselves when y'all go crazy

The thing is half of them won't even amount to anything when they get to college with that attitude. #Humility #TCU

Green’s tweets were in reference to the onslaught of misreporting and instant updates dealing with verbal commits and decommitments, some apparently involving hacked Twitter accounts.
Do you agree with Green’s sentiment that players need to turn the arrogance down a notch?
