Ahead of the third College Football Playoff rankings of the season, the FOX “Big Noon Kickoff” pregame show hosts updated their personal top 4 rankings, and it included a little curveball from 1 member of the team.

All 5 members of the cast—host Rob Stone and analysts Brady Quinn, Matt Leinart, Reggie Bush and Urban Meyer were in agreement on the top 2: Alabama and Notre Dame.

Spots 3 and 4 was where things differed. Leinart, Meyer and Quinn placed Clemson at No. 3, while Bush and Stone had Ohio State at the 3rd spot. Quinn took it a step further and placed a secnd SEC team, Texas A&M, in the field at No. 4. Clemson was at No. 4 on Bush and Stone’s list, while Leinart and Meyer had Ohio State there.

Quinn’s choice of the Aggies implies that they will stay ahead of Florida if the Gators fall in the SEC Championship Game to the Crimson Tide. But it also leaves out Ohio State, so it will be interesting to find out if he did not place the Buckeyes in the top 4 since they will have played 7 games including the Big Ten Championship to A&M’s 10.

We’ll see what the Playoff committee thinks of the top 4 teams on Tuesday night.
