Francis Mauigoa is an interesting 2023 prospect. He’s a 5-star offensive lineman and a native of American Samoa who now plays for IMG Academy in Florida.
As the 2023 recruiting cycle picks up steam, Mauigoa has started to whittle down his list of top schools.
As you can see below, 4 SEC programs — Georgia, Florida, Alabama and LSU — made the cut of 13 schools he’s still considering:

Those 4 SEC schools will compete with Oklahoma, Texas, Miami, Oregon, Penn State, Ohio State, USC, Michigan and Hawaii for Mauigoa’s services in 2023 and beyond.
Per the 247Sports composite rankings, Mauigoa is the No. 8 overall player in the 2023 class, the No. 2 offensive tackle and the No. 2 recruit from the state of Florida.
