LSU freshman big man Trendon Watford is one of the best freshmen in the SEC this year, and he showed that on Wednesday night.
Watford finished the game with 21 points and 9 rebounds, but it was his late-game heroics that saved the Tigers in a tight game against Arkansas.
As you can see below, with time winding down and Arkansas leading 74-73, Watford made a huge layup. Seconds later, he took an inbound pass and powered his way to the bucket, drawing a foul in the process:

He made the free throw, and LSU held on for a huge 79-77 victory once a last-second Arkansas shot was blocked.
What a play by the freshman, who had perhaps his best game as a Tiger.
