In case you were unaware, Florida State never forgets an upset.
On Saturday, the Seminoles pulled off the upset of No. 5 North Carolina. After racing out to a 31-7 lead, Florida State held on for a tight victory and big-time upset.
It was the first meeting for the two teams since 2016. In that contest, it was an unranked UNC squad that kicked a game-winning field goal to upset a No. 12 ranked Florida State team. After that kick, UNC kicker Nick Weiler imitated Florida State’s tomahawk chop while running down the sideline.

Florida State’s win allowed the Seminoles to avoid a three-game losing streak to the Tar Heels. It will be interesting to see what happens in this series moving forward. Maybe it will be North Carolina getting payback next time around.
