Florida State has reached a settlement with a woman who accused former Seminoles quarterback Jameis Winston of rape.

According to USA Today, the university agreed to pay former FSU student Erica Kinsman $950,000 as part of the settlement to the federal Title IX lawsuit. Part of the agreement also includes the school agreeing to a five-year commitment to awareness, prevention and training programs.

Kinsman claims she was raped by Winston in 2012. After a lengthy investigation, the state’s attorney declared in December 2013 that Winston would not be the subject of any charges.

Despite agreeing to the settlement, Florida State is not admitting legal responsibility. The school did so to duck any further expenses from the judicial process.

According to the report, Kinsman and Winston still have a lawsuit pending in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
