LSU’s first-half MVP in the Fiesta Bowl has been QB Joe Burrow.

The brutal blindside hit Burrow took on the pick-six seems to have lit a fire under the Tigers signal-caller. Since the interception, Burrow has put on a show, throwing three touchdown passes to give LSU a 24-21 lead at the half. He is 10-18 for 192 passing yards through the first two quarters.

In desperate need of some momentum, Burrow found Justin Jefferson in the end zone. Both the throw and the catch were highlight material.

That touchdown cut it to 14-10. Burrow hooked up with Derrick Dillon for a 49-yard play to retake the lead.

LSU opened it up to 24-14, its biggest lead of the game so far when Burrow found Jefferson again, this time for 33 yards.
