Bowl season is officially upon us, as the nation’s top teams are figuring out their bowl assignments.
On Sunday, ESPN announced the New Year’s Six bowl slate, starting with the two College Football Playoff semifinals in the Sugar and Rose Bowls.
Alabama and Georgia, obviously, will get a chance to win their respective bowl games to advance to the national title, but the other NY6 games are pretty solid, too:

Though the CFP matchups will be very important, those other games, particularly between USC and Ohio State and between Auburn and UCF, should be compelling television.
Other bowl assignments will be announced later, but this is a good start for the bowl season.
