FunnyMaine didn’t have to sweat anything out while watching his beloved Alabama Crimson Tide blow out Arkansas in a final tuneup before the SEC Championship Game. He wasn’t ready for the twist in the Florida-LSU matchup, though.
With a chalkboard behind him with the word “Heism6n” on it—it’s fairly clear what that means—the comedian released his latest SEC recap.
After a 3-3 1st quarter tie, DeVonta Smith’s 84-yard punt return set the tone for the Tide, and it was smooth sailing from there.
“The Slim Reaper strikes again,” FunnyMaine commented while looking back and pointing at the aforementioned chalkboard behind him.
With things in hand in Fayetteville and the Tide coasting to a 10-0 record—”We got plenty of bacon to go around today”—it was time to roast other teams, including Miami getting beaten down by North Carolina.
“Good grief, did they even get off the bus? This don’t even look like it used to anymore,” he said while throwing up the familiar “U” hand gesture, before dropping his left hand to show the shape of an “L.” “Right there. That’s it, right there.”
Later, he brought up the cancellation of “The Game” between Michigan and Ohio State.
“I’m not saying Harbaugh dodged them on purpose, but it’s looking real convenient,” he remarked.
Auburn vs. Mississippi State was next—FunnyMaine depicted himself sleeping through that one—before the finale of LSU vs. Florida.
“I’ve gotta scout for next week,” he said.
Of course, we know what happened at the end of that one, and FunnyMaine described the ending as only he could.
Watch the video to see for yourself, which involves something resembling shoe polish and a “shoo-in” pun.
