Those wanting to watch the Barry Odom era begin at Missouri will have to make plans for an early kickoff.

The Big 12 Conference announced Wednesday that the Tigers’ season opener at West Virginia on Sept. 3 will begin at noon ET on Fox Sports 1. Missouri holds a 3-2 lead in the series, but the programs haven’t met since the Tigers claimed a victory in the 1998 Insight.com Bowl.

There will be no shortage of intrigue with Missouri in this game. What will the Tigers’ offense look like under new coordinator Josh Heupel? Can they reload on defense?

The discoveries begin in about three months.
