Last week in Hoover, Gary Danielson took time to talk to us about the upcoming SEC football season and his process for calling the weekly SEC game on CBS.
Danielson, like most former athletes, cares much about his performance even in the broadcast booth. Based on his comments, it seems that Danielson’s toughest critic is indeed himself. Upon reflecting on his broadcasting performance, it led Danielson to sum it all up with a simple statement: “I blow.”
It’s nice to see broadcasters take their jobs seriously, but also, not take themselves too seriously. Enjoy the above video.
