Considering all the postponements around the Southeastern Conference this week — Alabama at LSU, Texas A&M at Tennessee and Auburn at Mississippi State have all been pushed off this weekend’s schedule — we could all use some good news.

Well, Florida AD Scott Stricklin just provided some leading up to Arkansas’ scheduled trip to Gainesville this weekend.

While Gainesville is currently under a Tropical Storm Warning, Stricklin shared that the Florida-Arkansas game is set to be played as scheduled on Saturday.

That’s the latest as of Wednesday morning.

Obviously, this is great news, as this matchup — if it wasn’t already — is now the marquee matchup on the SEC schedule this weekend as the improved Razorbacks head to Gainesville after winning two of their previous three games while Florida will be looking to take one step closer to locking up the SEC East with a win on Saturday.

The Florida-Arkansas game is set to kick off Saturday night at 7 p.m. ET/6 p.m. CT on ESPN.

Here is the Wednesday morning update Stricklin provided on the game:
