Florida reportedly set to play in New York City event featuring several Power 5 programs

The Gators continue to schedule up outside the SEC.
The latest evidence comes from Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports, who is reporting that Mike White’s program will face off against Penn State next season in New York. The matchup between the two programs isn’t a one-off, either, as Rothstein is reporting West Virginia and Purdue will also play in the event.
White’s Florida team entered the season with a ton of hype but finished the year going just 19-12 on the court.
Penn State and West Virginia both finished the season with a 21-10 record, while Purdue went 16-15 last season.
Either way, it would appear Florida is set to play two tough non-conference matchups next December on the hardwood in the Big Apple.
