Gators in the mix for four-star RB Jordan Scarlett, will announce Monday

Scarlett’s a U.S. Army All-American who had been committed to nearby Miami since July. Florida has picked up its recruitment of Scarlett led by assistant Travaris Robinson since McElwain’s hire. Scarlett is said to be intrigued by the coaching style of McElwain who coached several can’t-miss ballcarriers at Alabama.
Scarlett is one of several big fish still out there for the Gators who are currently last in the SEC and 63rd overall (based on 247Sports’ composite team rankings) with 13 commits for the incoming 2015 class.
