After missing out on last season’s trip to Norman, the Gators will reportedly make the trip to Oklahoma to face off against the Sooners basketball program next season.

That’s according to Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports, who is reporting that the scheduled home-and-home basketball series will begin a year after it was set to start.

The original start date for the home-and-home was Dec. 2, 2020, with Florida traveling to Oklahoma to meet the Sooners at the Lloyd Noble Center and Oklahoma making the return trip to Gainesville in 2021. Presumably, the Sooners will end up making that trip in 2022.

Florida leads the all-time series between the Sooners with a 2-1 advantage.
