BREAKING: Florida’s season-opener vs Idaho has been cancelled

The Univeristy of Florida has just announced that the Gators game against the Idaho Vandals has been cancelled due to unsafe weather conditions.
Per the university, the game has been “terminated.” The two teams will decide later if the game is to be rescheduled for a later date. If that does happen, the game will start over from scratch.
Reason for game cancellation described as “unsafe field conditions.” No further information at this time. Stay tuned.

The Florida Gators will now kick off their season against Eastern Michigan on Sept. 6 at 4 p.m.
