Originally, Garrett set a commitment date of July 20 after setting an official visit schedule that included visits to Clemson and Georgia. He is also set to visit Georgia Tech and Tennessee to wrap up the month of June, but his time in Athens was enough to seal the deal.
According to the 247 Sports Composite, Garrett is a 4-star prospect and the 18th overall player in Georgia for the class of 2025. He’s also the No. 15 DL in the country and participates in the shot put and discus events in track and field competitions.
Garrett is the 11th hard commit for Georgia so far in another star-studded class under Kirby Smart. That group currently ranks 8th nationally per the 247 Sports Team Composite with a pair of 5-star prospects included.
