Georgia’s annual homecoming game has been finalized.
This year’s homecoming in Athens will take place on Nov. 4 as the Bulldogs host Missouri. That announcement was made in a press release on Friday afternoon.
Here are more details from the release:
Numerous activities will be taking place throughout the week and weekend including the annual Homecoming Parade and crowning of the Homecoming King and Queen which will be announced at halftime of the football game.
Last season, the Bulldogs played Vanderbilt on homecoming. Georgia defeated the Commodores 55-0 in that contest.
Georgia will be facing a Missouri team that nearly upset the Bulldogs in Columbia last season. UGA defeated the Tigers 26-22 thanks to a 14-point 4th quarter.
Georgia is 11-1 all-time against Missouri and has won 9 in a row against the Tigers. UGA’s lone victory over Mizzou came back in 2013 in Athens.
A kickoff time for this year’s homecoming matchup against Missouri will be announced at a later date.
