Georgia approves initiative for new indoor facilities, raises ticket prices

We wrote last month that the University of Georgia athletic board would be discussing the possibility of at its next meeting.
That meeting took place on Friday afternoon, according to local media.
UGA Athletic Board, meeting this afternoon, will be asked to fund $400,000 for a design study of an indoor training facility.

A new practice facility was not the only thing on the agenda, however. Georgia officials also discussed and voted on raising ticket prices beginning in 2015.

Board now is asked to approve a $10 increase (from $60 to $70) in price of Georgia-Florida football tickets, effective next year.
