Spell is currently regarded as the nation’s top overall running back in the class of 2027. He’s the No. 7 overall player and the No. 1 running back for that cycle, per 247Sports Composite rankings.

Spell is listed at 5-foot-9, 205 pounds. He attends McKeesport High School in Pennsylvania and has one season of high school football remaining before beginning his college career.

Spell chose Georgia over offers from a number of other programs including Ole Miss, Oregon, Penn State and Miami, among others. Per ESPN, Spell was on a visit to Athens over the weekend before deciding to make this commitment.

Georgia is now up to six commits in the class of 2027. The group ranks No. 6 nationally, per 247Sports Composite rankings.
