Georgia prepares Sanford Stadium’s socially distanced seating for the home opener against Auburn
We already knew Georgia was planning to limit capacity to 20-25 percent to start the upcoming college football season.
Now we have an idea of what game days will look like in Athens.
Thanks to Seth Emerson of The Athletic, who was inside Sanford Stadium on Sunday and shared the following photos found below, you can see the seats Georgia has put into place for the team’s home opener against Auburn set to be played on Saturday, Oct. 3.
Georgia opens the season on the road at Arkansas this Saturday, Sept. 26. In case you were wondering, Auburn opens the season at home against Kentucky.
If you are a season ticket holder at Georgia, here’s what you can be expecting come game day in just under two weeks.
