Kirby Smart is reportedly sticking with Stetson Bennett as Georgia’s starting quarterback.

On3’s Matt Zenitz is reporting that Bennett will get the start on Saturday against SEC East rival Florida. Ahead of the rivalry clash in Jacksonville, it was reported that Week 1 starter JT Daniels had been cleared to return to action after being sidelined by a lat injury.

Bennett has played in 6 games this season, starting 4 games, including UGA’s last 3 games. This month, Bennett has led Georgia to wins over 3 ranked opponents: then-No. 8 Arkansas (37-0, Week 5), then-No. 18 Auburn (34-10, Week 6) and then-No. 11 Kentucky (30-13, Week 7).

Bennett is 57-of-82 passing for 996 yards, 11 touchdowns and 2 interceptions while rushing 19 times for 148 yards.
