Georgia defensive tackle calls Jacob Eason ‘our future QB,’ rallies fans for support

Georgia defensive tackle Trent Thompson isn’t letting a five-star quarterback flip to Florida without having something to say about it.
Jacob Eason had given indications that he may join the Gators after officially visiting Gainesville, but Thompson had an Instagram post on Sunday afternoon that declared Eason “our future QB” and attempted to rally Bulldogs fans to follow his account.
Eason plans on enrolling somewhere in January.
Eason, a Washington native, had been a Georgia commit since July 2014. However, long-time Georgia coach Mark Richt’s departure seemed to give Florida an edge.
