No. 10 Georgia is having a tough time at Auburn in the Deep South’s Oldest Rivalry, as they trail 10-3 at halftime. Understandably, Georgia fans are furious after a disappointing first half from the Bulldogs and they’re going unhinged on social media.

Here’s a sampling of the online reaction to Georgia’s first half showing against Auburn.

Georgia has only mustered 78 yards offensively through the first 2 quarters. Quarterback Gunnar Stockton has completed 7 of his 14 passes for 59 yards. Georgia’s rushing attack only has 19 yards.

Meanwhile, Georgia’s defense is getting gashed by Auburn’s rushing attack. Auburn has rushed for 130 yards (5.2 yards per carry) along with a 2-yard touchdown by quarterback Jackson Arnold in the first quarter. Arnold has completed 14 of his 19 passes for 107 yards.

Auburn kicker Alex McPherson made a 25-yard field goal with 13:41 in the second quarter. Georgia got on the board with a 29-yard field goal by Peyton Woodring with 13 seconds left in the first half.

Georgia leads the all-time series 65-56-8 and has been especially dominant lately with an 8-game winning streak against Auburn. However, that streak is in serious jeopardy unless the Bulldogs can flip the switch in the second half.
