Georgia entered Week 5 preparing for a matchup vs. Alabama that many were hype as the potential Game of the Year in college football. After the first 15 minutes, the Bulldogs are likely praying to simply avoid getting run out of Tuscaloosa.

At the end of the 1st quarter, it has been all Kalen DeBoer and Alabama in the top 5 matchup Saturday night. Remarkably, the Crimson Tide hold a 21-0 lead, and it has been Alabama dominating the game on both sides of the ball.

Offensively, Georgia is a nightmare right now. Their longest drive of the game so far has covered 6 total yards while they have a pair of punts and an interception in 3 possessions.

Carson Beck was lost for much of the quarter and was just 2-for-7 for 19 yards and an interception. The rushing attack has been no better with Trevor Etienne picking up 8 yards on 3 carries.

On the flip side, Jalen Milroe has delivered an early-game masterclass performance. He has completed all 8 of his throws for 113 yards and a touchdown while adding 42 rushing yards and another touchdown.

If things do not get turned around quickly, it could go down as one of the worst games of the Kirby Smart era in Athens. Needless to say, this is not the start fans were looking forward to:
