Kirby Smart’s new coaching staff is really coming together now.

The Bulldogs officially hired three new assistant coaches, according to the school’s official website.

Here are the details:

  • Former Miami and Florida State offensive coordinator James Coley will be Georgia’s wide receivers coach.
  • Former Georgia Southern interim head coach and Auburn staffer Dell McGee will be the running backs coach at Georgia.
  • Marshall Malchow, who is the former director of player personnel at Washington, will lead the Bulldogs recruiting department.

That is a trio of very impressive hires for Kirby Smart, who is still serving as the defensive coordinator for Alabama through the national championship game on Jan. 11.
