Georgia received a verbal commitment from wide receiver Jeremiah Hollomon (Newton HS / Covington, GA) on Thursday afternoon.
Hollomon, a four-star U.S. Army All-American, picked the Bulldogs over Auburn, Miami, Tennessee, and others.
“There has been a lot of schools that have given me a chance but Georgia has just stayed the contender for me, “ Holloman told 247Sports.”Other schools just shot themselves in the foot, but Georgia just stayed consistent with it. I mean with Coach (Kirby) Smart and Coach (James) Coley and how good our relationships are it was place for me.”
Hollomon ranks as the No. 19 player at his position for the 2017 recruiting class and is a top-15 prospect from the state of Georgia.
