The Early Signing Period is just a couple of weeks away, and programs around the country are starting to put the finishing touches on their respective recruiting classes in the 2026 cycle.
The Georgia Bulldogs are no exception, and the SEC powerhouse just secured another massive commitment from a highly rated recruit in 4-star linebacker Elijah Littlejohn out of North Carolina.
The Charlotte native announced his pledge to the Dawgs on X Sunday afternoon. He originally committed to the Penn State Nittany Lions back in June, but reopened his recruitment following the firing of former Penn State head coach James Franklin.
A rangy and dynamic linebacker, Littlejohn is a 4-star recruit according to 247Sports, ranks as the 20th best linebacker and the 408th player overall in the 2026 recruiting cycle.
With Littlejohn now on board, the Bulldogs currently have 31 players committed in the 2026 cycle, a class that currently ranks as the third-best in the entire country per 247Sports.
Georgia has been known for their elite recruiting at the linebacker position since Kirby Smart arrived back in 2016, securing commitments from some of the nation’s top high schoolers year in and year out. With the addition of Littlejohn, the Dawgs now have 3 total linebackers in the fold for the current cycle.
