Georgia has gotten a commitment from one of the top offensive guards in the Class of 2017.

Netori Johnson, rated as the No. 4 guard according to 247Sports’ composite rankings, announced his pledge to the Bulldogs via Twitter on Tuesday.

The 6-foot-3, 348-pounder from Ellenwood, Ga., is Georgia’s eighth commitment for 2017. He joins five other four-star prospects: S Richard LeCounte III, pro-style QB Jake Fromm, CB William Poole III, OLB Jaden Hunter and ILB Breon Dixon as well as three-star prospects in WR Xavier Jenkins and fellow guard Justin Shaffer.

Johnson picked Georgia over Alabama, Auburn, Florida, LSU and Ole Miss along with several other elite programs from other conferences like Baylor, Miami, Michigan, Michigan State, Oklahoma and USC.
