Georgia makes top group for highly sought-after 4-star 2023 OT out of Florida

One of the most sought-after offensive tackles in the class of 2023 has Georgia in his top group.
Payton Kirkland, a 4-star prospect out of Dr. Phillips in Orlando, included UGA in his top 7, along with Clemson, Miami, Michigan, Ohio State, Oklahoma and Penn State.

Listed at 6-5, 330 pounds, Kirkland is rated the No. 15 offensive tackle, No. 39 Sunshine State recruit and No. 201 prospect overall nationally in the class of 2023 on the 247Sports Composite. His recruiting profile shows 46 scholarship offers, including Arkansas, Auburn, Florida*, Kentucky, LSU*, Mississippi State, South Carolina, Tennessee* and Texas A&M.
