Georgia OL Tate Ratledge was a big part of the Bulldogs’ success the past couple of seasons, and now he is preparing for the next step as he is in Indianapolis at the NFL Combine.
Players are using this time to show what they can bring to a team, and are going through everything from physical workouts to interviews with teams. Ratledge was talking to the media in Indianapolis, and he mentioned how hunting Turkey plays a role in his game.
“Turkey hunting, it helps with my patience,” Ratledge told reporters.
Ratledge is looked at as a guy who figures to hear his name called in Round 3, potentially even Round 2. During this last season for Kirby Smart and Georgia, he had to battle a sprained knee and ankle injury that caused him to miss 4 games. He had to have TightRope surgery but was able to return in a reserve role later in the season.
After Indianapolis, the Georgia product will be able to show even more at his pro day on March 12.
The NFL Draft will be on April 24-25 and will be live from Green Bay.
