Georgia or Michigan? Alabama fans weigh in on who they’d rather face in CFP title game
By Adam Spencer
Published:
Georgia and Michigan will kick off the second College Football Playoff semifinal matchup on Friday night at the Orange Bowl in Miami.
After a 27-6 win over Cincinnati, No. 1 Alabama will be awaiting the winner in the CFP National Championship Game in Indianapolis on Jan. 10.
So, would the Tide (and college football fans in general) rather play Michigan or Georgia in the title game?
Here’s a sampling of some replies via Twitter:
Bama vs. Michigan. We already got Alabama vs. Georgia and it was ugly.

I hope the Michigan vs Georgia is a better game, and Michigan wins don’t really care to see Georgia vs Alabama for the natty.

Feel like Georgia will beat Michigan but I hope Michigan wins. It’s tough beating a team twice. Alabama played a perfect game vs Georgia and that will be tough to repeat IMO. #RollTide

Seems like a fairly even split there, maybe a slight edge to Michigan.
Who will advance to take on the Tide? The Orange Bowl is set to kick off at 7:30 p.m. Eastern time on Friday night on ESPN.
