The Georgia Bulldogs, like several other teams already have done or will do, have postponed the start of spring football practice. UGA was scheduled to start spring practice Tuesday.
During an interview with 960 The Ref in Athens, AD Greg McGarity said there will be no sports practices during the next several weeks, which includes spring football.

Auburn is the other SEC program to announce that it has postponed the start of spring football practice, which was scheduled to start Monday; however, due to the coronavirus concerns, the start of spring practice has been moved.
Georgia becomes the latest program to make a decision, as some have postponed spring practice or canceled the spring game altogether. The Bulldogs spring game, effectively known as G-Day, is scheduled to be on April 18, and McGarity provided no other details on the status of the game aside from it being up in the air at this time.
The SEC announced Thursday that all sports games would be canceled through the end of March.
