It’s tough to be a Georgia running back these days.

Heisman contender Nick Chubb is coming off a major knee injury. Meanwhile, his backup, Sony Michel, is recovering from a broken arm.

Shaquery Wilson has also missed time this fall.

On Saturday, freshman RB Elijah Holyfield suffered an ankle injury during the day’s scrimmage. As of Saturday evening, the severity of the injury was unknown, per a DawgNation.com report.

Holyfield, a four-star recruit, has looked good so far this fall, but was unlikely to see much game action behind Chubb, Michel and senior Brendan Douglas.

Still, if this injury is serious, it will hamper Holyfield’s development this fall.
