Georgia RBs Nick Chubb and Sony Michel want the ball more often

It’s no secret that Georgia’s offense has struggled of late. In the last two games, the Bulldogs have scored 16 points in a loss to Vanderbilt and 10 points in a loss to Florida.
The common theme in those games was that the offense went more through freshman QB Jacob Eason than star RBs Nick Chubb and Sony Michel.
That dynamic duo would like that to change, according to Chubb:
UGA RB Nick Chubb said he and Sony Michel met with OC Jim Chaney Monday in his office. "I asked him if we're going to run the ball more."

Since opening the season with a 222-yard, two-touchdown performance against North Carolina, Chubb has only gone over the 100-yard mark one more time. Michel, meanwhile, has only rushed for more than 100 yards once in 2016.
If the Bulldogs are going to turn things around in 2016, offensive coordinator Jim Chaney would be wise to rely more heavily on his talented backs.
