Georgia might not know its starting quarterback for Week 1 right now, but it’s safe to assume the gameplan is going to feature a healthy dose of returning running back Zamir White.
The redshirt sophomore fans affectionately know as “Zeus” is a standout in the scrimmage highlight clip shared by the official account of the Bulldogs football team.
The former 5-star recruit has embraced his role as the new leader of UGA’s running back room following the departure of D’Andre Swift. White is coming off of a 78-carry 2019 campaign of 408 rushing yards and 3 touchdowns. His 18-carry, 92-yard performance in the Sugar Bowl win over Baylor was widely seen as his national breakout game.
With the aggressive run and breakaway speed White shows off in the clip below, it looks like Dawgs fans have a lot to be excited about when White and company take the field at Arkansas on Sept. 26.
