Georgia reveals jersey numbers for 2022 freshmen enrollees

Georgia fans are back in Sanford Stadium this Saturday to get a preview of the 2022 edition of the defending national champions. It’s G-Day in Athens, which means the Bulldogs are playing their annual spring game.
As expected, many standouts from the 2021 squad are off to the NFL. There are many exciting newcomers on the way as Kirby Smart’s staff signed 29 recruits to give UGA the No. 3 2022 recruiting class in the country.
Eighteen of those 29 signees have already enrolled. Their jersey numbers were revealed Saturday with the spring game rosters.

The group of 18 early enrollees includes 6 of the 247Sports Composite’s top-50 prospects overall nationally: Mykel Williams (No. 4 recruit overall nationally), Malaki Starks (No. 19), Daylen Everette (No. 28), Earnest Greene (No. 45), Jalon Walker (No. 46) and Bear Alexander (No. 50).
