Georgia Tech has taken the lead over the Florida State Seminoles in the fourth quarter of the season opener.
The Yellow Jackets went ahead 21-14 shortly after the fourth quarter opened after running back Jamal Haynes found the end zone. The score was Haynes’ second of the game and put the RB at 69 yards.
Florida State is soft. Georgia Tech is DOMINATING them in the trenches. You can’t win a conference like this.

The Yellow Jackets entered the game as 10.5-point underdogs in Dublin, Ireland. The Noles got on the board first, scoring on a 28-yard run by Lawrance Toafili. The team converted a 2-point conversion to go up 8-0.
The Yellow Jackets responded with a score of their own to make it a 1-point game. The Noles were only able to add two field goals in the second quarter, while Haynes found the end zone for his first score of the day. The teams were tied up at 14 entering the half.
The third quarter saw no scores from either team, but the Yellow Jackets ended that quarter by driving deep into Seminole territory. Haynes found the end zone on a 2-yard scamper to put the Yellow Jackets in front once again.
With around 8 minutes to play, the Yellow Jackets were still holding on to a 7-point lead. Stay tuned to see if the Yellow Jackets can hold on to upset the No. 10-ranked Seminoles.
