Smith made his college track debut two weeks ago in the SEC championships, finishing eighth in the 100m.
On the gridiron, Smith appeared in the last four games, making 2 catches for 86 yards and a touchdown. With the speed he’s showing on the track, Smith is probably in for more touches this fall as he should have a better understanding of the playbook.
Out of Lakeland (Florida), Smith was a 4-star recruit, rated the No. 9 wide receiver and No. 58 prospect overall nationally in the class of 2020 on the 247Sports Composite.
