Georgia looked the part of college football’s No. 1 team, dominating No. 11 Kentucky in all phases Saturday as Kirby Smart’s Bulldogs took down Mark Stoops’ Wildcats 30-13.

UGA has not officially clinched the SEC East as the Bulldogs have 3 remaining conference games against Florida, Missouri and Tennessee. With the Gators and Tigers current struggles, though, it’s looking safe to pencil Georgia in for the SEC Championship Game. The Dawgs would likely face Alabama in Atlanta. Even though the Crimson Tide lost to Texas A&M, Nick Saban’s squad still controls its destiny with the Aggies having 2 conference losses and UA holding the head-to-head tiebreaker over Ole Miss with Mississippi State, LSU, Arkansas and Auburn remaining on the schedule.

Naturally, fans are already looking ahead to another Georgia-Alabama meeting in December. Some fans are even noting that this year’s UGA squad looks like the dominant Bama squads of the past decade.
