Georgia’s tight end corps are putting on a show in the SEC Championship against LSU. The Bulldogs hold a 35-7 halftime lead over the Tigers and appear well on their way to their 1st SEC Championship since 2017.

Stetson Bennett has been essentially flawless, going 19-of-24 for 214 yards and 4 touchdowns. Two of his touchdowns have been to Brock Bowers and Darnell Washington; it was Washington’s 2nd TD catch of the season, while Bowers has 6 to his name this year. Bowers has 5 catches for 58 yards; Washington’s touchdown catch for 14 yards out has been his lone grab so far.

CBS’s Gary Danielson has made several mentions of the Dawgs’ “unicorns” at TE throughout the broadcast. Washington and Bowers are just a couple of the reasons why the No. 1 team in the country is rolling right now in Atlanta against the Tigers, and it’s not over yet.

It’s almost a reverse of the last time these 2 teams met as Joe Burrow and LSU cruised past Georgia 37-10 in 2019’s SEC title matchup. This one has the potential to get even uglier in the 2nd half.

Social media had plenty to say about the performance of both Bowers and Washington:
