Week 3 of the 2016 college football season provided another glimpse at uniforms. Some programs unveiled new ones. Others modified old ones.
Here’s a look at the good, the bland and the downright ugly from Week 3.

Another week, another awesome uni for Oregon. Unfortunately, the Ducks couldn’t live up to their threads, falling 35-32 to Nebraska, which Cornhuskers fans had fun noting.

What a weekend for Louisville. Not only did the Cardinals legitimize themselves as a legit contender for the College Football Playoff, but they also debuted these sweet red helmets honoring the late Muhammad Ali. The Greatest would be proud.

LSU switched its colors by wearing a primary gold jersey with purple numbers. It was a nice temporary change, although I personally prefer the originals.

Those baby blues. UNC has already been featured on this list for its Week 1 threads, but doubling up with the all blue unis were a great look.

Finally, Arizona managed to wear something that wasn’t an eyesore. Instead, the Wildcats honored America with these patriotic threads Saturday.

All green everything. Fittingly, Tulane’s uniforms were money Saturday, although it wasn’t enough to stop Navy from capturing a victory.

Missouri suffered a heartbreaking loss to Georgia on Saturday night. But the Tigers did so wearing these awesome Nike unis, which are completed with the sweet black and yellow cleats.

This is just plain boring. There’s nothing exciting about these. It’s just so bland, like a generic team in a football movie.
The Ugly

Iowa State lost to TCU in its first Big 12 matchup of the season. But that’s not all, the Cyclones did so looking like the football equivalent of Ronald McDonald.
Iowa State announced that they'll be updating their uniform as soon as McDonalds does. It takes time to collect castoffs.

Things weren’t much better on the other side of the field. TCU wore these gray jerseys, which look kind of like colored camouflage without the other color. Like there’s supposed to be more purple in there somewhere. Either way, it’s a very ugly pattern.
