Report: Auburn QB Jeremy Johnson’s grandfather killed in car crash

The grandfather of Auburn quarterback Jeremy Johnson was killed in a single-car accident on Thursday morning.

Ojedita Johnson, 65, wasn’t wearing a seatbelt when his pickup truck went off the road and struck a tree, according to al.com.

Johnson started seven games for the Tigers last season and is 6-3 in his career as a starter.  The senior has thrown for 1,912 yards with 19 touchdowns and 9 interceptions while adding 177 yards and 7 touchdowns on the ground at Auburn.
