Greg McElroy argues why Hendon Hooker was the biggest Heisman Trophy snub of them all

Greg McElroy has come out strong about some of the snubs from the Heisman Trophy finalists announcement.
About Tennessee QB Hendon Hooker, the ESPN analyst said the Vols’ signal caller was the biggest snub of them all.
“Hendon Hooker was the reason why Tennessee made this massive leap this year,” McElroy said. “And the fact that his performance was not rewarded with a trip to New York is absurd. He got hurt in heartbreaking fashion, gutting it out for his team. The guy’s a phenomenal leader.”
McElroy added that Hooker played beautifully against Alabama and Pitt, and made a ton of plays all season.
“He did have a forgettable performance arguably against Georgia,” McElroy said. “But who didn’t? Other than that, man, the other 10 games or so, 9 games or so, he played exceptionally well. It’s a travesty he’s not in New York. He deserves it, the Tennessee program deserves it.”
McElroy said not enough people are raising hell that Hooker will be at home this weekend and not in New York.
