Greg McElroy has made his prediction for a fun in-state rivalry game on Saturday.
Oklahoma takes on Oklahoma State Saturday in the Bedlam matchup, a game between 2 top-25 teams looking for a signature win.
Oklahoma has been tested the past 2 weeks, going down to the wire with UCF 2 weeks ago and falling to Kansas last week. The Sooners are looking to get back on track in this rivalry game.
Oklahoma State has won 4 straight games after taking back-to-back losses early in the season, and the Cowboys are looking for a signature win this weekend against Oklahoma.
While Oklahoma State has been impressive this season, McElroy is giving the edge to Oklahoma, crediting the Sooners’ ability to bounce back after losses.
“This one is a very difficult one for me to predict. I’m taking Oklahoma,” McElroy said on Always College Football on Friday. “I look at how they’ve bounced back in the past in situations similar to this. And while Oklahoma State has done an amazing job in the last few weeks, an amazing job controlling the line of scrimmage and controlling the tempo of the game, making sure that Ollie Gordon has plenty of space, I think Oklahoma’s gonna sell out against the run.”
The game between the Sooners and Cowboys kicks off at 3:30 p.m. ET Saturday.
