A pair of SEC players named finalists for NFL rookie of the year award

It is no surprise to SEC fans that former Georgia RB Todd Gurley and former Alabama WR Amari Cooper are special, but the 2015 NFL season was eye opening for some football fans around the country.
Cooper and Gurley are two of the five finalists for the NFL rookie of the year award.

Cooper caught 72 passes for 1,070 yards and six touchdowns for the Oakland Raiders in 2015.
Gurley rushed for 1,106 yards and 10 touchdowns in just 13 games for the Rams.
