Gus Johnson draws polarizing reactions from CFB fans for call of Alabama-Texas game

Gus Johnson is an unfamiliar voice to some SEC football fans. Johnson is well-known for his calls in multiple sports, but he’s on FOX, which doesn’t often feature SEC teams.

With Alabama in Big 12 territory (for now), the UA-Texas game is getting FOX’s Big Noon Saturday showcase treatment with Johnson on the call.

CBS and Fox should have joined up for this Bama/Texas game and had Bama fanboy Gary Danielson and Texas fanboy Gus Johnson in the box together. They may have broken out in a fist fight before the game was over.
