Auburn is looking to make it 2 wins in a row after a controversial victory over Arkansas at home last Saturday, with South Carolina awaiting them at Williams-Brice Stadium in Columbia.
One player the Tigers hope they have back is wide receiver Eli Stove, who sustained an unspecified injury against Georgia and did not play against the Razorbacks. During his weekly appearance on Auburn’s “Tiger Talk” radio show on Thursday night, though, head coach Gus Malzahn had some good news: the senior will be back on Saturday to play against the Gamecocks.
Gus Malzahn said Eli Stove will be back Saturday at South Carolina.
“That will be a good shot in the arm for us.”

Stove ended up redshirting in 2018 after a torn ACL in the spring kept him off the field, but had a strong campaign in 2019 as he made 37 catches for 321 yards and 3 touchdowns. Against Kentucky in Week 1, he made 4 catches for 55 yards and a touchdown.
Auburn and South Carolina kick off at noon ET on Saturday, with the game set to be televised on ESPN.
